Teijin Polyester (Thailand), a Teijin Group subsidiary in Bangkok that manufactures and sells polyester fibre, have announced their collaboration with the Assumption College Primary Section (ACP), campus of Assumption College, a private school in Bangkok, Thailand in a recycling project of used PET bottles that starts this week.

US cotton exports to touch 13.2mn bales in 2016-17: USDA

Owing to high recent shipments and sales to all major markets, US cotton export outlook for 2016-17 is hiked by 500,000 bales to 13.2 million bales for 2016-17, the US department of agriculture (USDA) has said in its March 2017 report 'Cotton: World Markets and Trends'. The report also projects US cotton exports to remain at 13.2 million bales in 2017-18.
